Mi Llave Mágica, un escarabajo especial.

Hola a todos, ya ha pasado bastante tiempo desde mi último post pero tenía que cumplir mi promesa de compartirles el proceso de esta llave escarabajo tan especial.

Siempre creo que sólo será un pequeño y simple dibujo, pero la verdad es que cosas mágicas e inesperadas me suceden durante cada trazo, es toda un experiencia, es un momento de profunda meditación con el papel y mis colores, y cuando todo agarra forma termino descubriendo un poco más de mí misma y del mundo que me rodea, un dibujo para mí es como un arcano.

Hello everyone, it's been quite a while since my last post but I had to keep my promise to share the process of this special key.
I always believe that it will only be a small and simple drawing, but the truth is that magical and unexpected things happen to me during each stroke, it is an experience, it is a moment of deep meditation with the paper and my coloring pencils and when everything takes shape I end discovering a little more about myself and the world that surrounds me, a drawing for me is like an arcane.

Drawing Process

Los materiales que utilicé para este pequeño dibujo : Cartulina, lápiz de dibujo, bolígrafo negro , marcador negro punta ultra fina, tizas pasteles, colores, difumino de papel, pintura blanca, pincel liner.

The materials I used for this little drawing: Drawing paper, sketch pencil, black pen, ultra fine black marker, soft pastels, coloring pencils, estompe paperwiper, white paint, liner brush.

Mientras veía una foto de un increíble escarabajo egipcio, decidí que ese sería mi próximo dibujo. Y así comencé mi boceto, pero en ese proceso me di cuenta que era como un amuleto y tomó forma de una llave muy particular.

While watching a picture of an amazing Egyptian beetle, I decided that would be my next drawing. And so I began my sketch, but in that process I realized that it was like an amulet and took the form of a very particular key.

Luego comencé a crear un degradé con tizas pastel que me encantan, ésta parte es muy divertida, fácil y muy relajante.

Then I started to create a gradient with pastel chalks that I love, this part is very fun, easy and very relaxing.

Llegó el momento de delinear toda la figura y agregar detalles para comenzar a crear una combinación mágica de colores, me encanta que tenga esa apariencia como arcoíris o efecto iridiscente como los colores de la naturaleza.

The time has come to delineate the whole figure and add details to start creating a magical combination of colors, I love that it has that appearance as a rainbow or iridescent effect like the colors of nature.

Y por supuesto, no podía faltar el puntillismo, mi parte favorita.

And of course, I could not miss the pointillism, my favorite part.

Mi nuevo arcano ha nacido.

Con la energía del sol y del fuego.
Con aires de nuevos comienzos, renacimiento.
La llave mágica que abre la puerta de un bendecido destino siempre bajo la protección divina de mis ancestros y guardianes.

My new arcana is born.
With the energy of the sun and fire.
With the air of new beginnings, rebirth. The magic key that opens the door of a blessed destiny always under the divine protection of my ancestors and guardians.

Qué casualidad! Mientras buscaba un sitio tranquilo bajo algún árbol para seguir dibujando mi llave escarabajo mágica, me encontré 2 escarabajos muertos , me encanta dibujar en la naturaleza, la magia está en todos lados!

What a coincidence!! While looking for a quiet place under a tree to continue drawing my magic beetle key, I found two dead beetles. I love drawing in nature !! Pure magic !! It is everywhere.
