Failure Is Not Final

In this world nothing comes easily. The best thing that we have to know is that we will fail at some point, but what that matters is how we react to our failures. Our response will tell weather we are wise or not.

Because you failed before doesn’t mean you can’t succeed. We all failed and lose. Mentally resilient smart people realize that it is not failure that defines their identity in life but how they react and respond to it.

And we should know that you failing doesn't mean that you can not make it again just keep on trying. Experience is the best teacher.

REMEMBER - You have not completely fail unless you fail to rise.

This work depics a man who has been depressed after several attempts to achieve his goal.

I like blue ~ Just one color says many things ~ Loneliness is shown by the harshly brushstroke ~ Even messy, it delivers us a neat emotion ~ Show us more ~

Likewise me! Blue is my favorite color and I enjoy exploring it in different ways.
Just like you observed, each stroke has s destiny and with more and more strokes coming together, they create meaning that doesn't even need to be written before one could feel it!
Thank you for your thoughtful comment.

If I may, because I do notice this post about "failure" also has to do with art, do you think that all artists can inevitably succeed? How about, musicians? How about, any form of craft that has no practical application in society? The answer is, no. It can't happen. It could never happen just like, we couldn't all be doctors. The problem with art, music, and other forms of impractical creation, is that the market has an overabundance of this commodity. Hence, the commodity no longer holds a value like it once did in society. There is too much art and music out there. There are way too many artists for the rest of the world to support financially, especially when you consider the average person can barely afford to survive, much less buy his friend's artwork to put it onto the wall. Same for music. You could spend the rest of your life listening to a new band each hour of the day, I do mean good bands, and still not discover every good band out there in your lifetime. There is WAY too much abundance of art and music out there. Economically speaking, it is all worthless. This is why so many artists/musicians fail. Not because they suck but, because of money economics itself.

Regardless, thanks for sharing your art and article which caused me to share my thoughts/observations. Upvoted and resteemed.

Every artist can succeed if they are postive, postion their minds and focus on what really matter. Most people tend to give up after a little trials without even discovering why they are failing and work on them.

I quite agree there is too much art and music and there are those making it big because they played their cards well. They charge huge amount of money for a single show - that's because they believe in what they are doing and they are doing it to their fullest - Go closer and ask and they will tell you thousands of challenges they've faced, a lot of obstacles they have overcame, and thousands of rejections but they never gave - because they believed in who they are and what they can do.

For the economical value? You just have to value yourself first and show your worth if you want others to value you and what you. The kind of people you present your work to and the kind of people that buy your work, will go a long way in determining how successful you would become in your art/music.

Smh, I'm 40 now and tried that positive "hippie religion" thing for far too long and it simply does not work, just like prayer. If you know your art history, most famous artists people view as the "greats" spent their lives in depression. So, there goes that theory right out the window. Furthermore, to be greatly succesful in both art and music, it isn't about how good you are, it is in who you know. If you belong to the special club (Freemasonry/Illuminati) like Jackson Pollock did, then you will succeed no matter what you do. Even if you are a failure. Sorry to burst your bubble but, that is what I do. This is information that can be found if you do research. All famous people fit into the category of either belonging to, or being owned by "the special club" and you "ain't in it". Thank you, George Carlin. How else could you explain bad artists, bad musicians, and bad actors having millions of dollars and fame? Time to think, people. But, go ahead and believe whatever you wish, it is no longer my job to care about humanity. Humanity lost my respect too much to care about them anymore. Go get vaccinated and chipped, please.
