Pencil drawing of a famous concept

ntopaz-image-0 The concept of this drawing is taken from a very famous fresco painting called 'The creation of Adam', by Italian artist Michelangelo. The painting demonstrates The creation of adam where god is giving life to adam, the first man. Both sides are reaching for each other, but there hands don't touch. There's is a tiny gap between.
I really like that painting because it arouses a kind of 'feeling'.
In my drawing i only drew the hands part, not the whole body of the two sides because i was just trying to create a life giving vibe here.
A man's hand almost touching a robotic hand, as if, the man is giving life to a machine. That is, compared to the original painting idea. Also in reality we are actually giving life to machines, I mean i wouldn't totally call it life, as they don't have free will, but then again a lifeless object is moving and doing things is kinda awesome.

I took a lots of time when i made this drawing. This is one of my favorite piece that i still have it as my cover photo in my facebook profile.
