Happy Valentine's Day - Love Light Painting Heart
This is an actual photograf of me swinging a torch with some aluminum sheet around to create that shape of a heart. Why?
Some time ago i had a project i made about 500 individual Light Painting Hearts for. The idea was to find donations for all sorts of projects that support and take care of people with all sorts cardio vascular deseases.
The German donation law on the other hand does not allow a trade for donation. Means if you would donate for a cause and i give you a piece of art i would need to have the 'income' taxed even if its a donation. So i just give away the Love like that and hope people donate.
Here is the first 4 of them for you to feel the Love and Passion that went into it.

I love :-) the idea of this. Is the cause a local charity linked to heart disease? Or is it okay to just support our own local causes? Nice to do this on Valentine, gives a whole new perspective on the heart by the way :-)

To help the local charity was exactly the idea. Instead of putting money to one individual institution I wanted to create 1001 hearts that help many organisation's with that same interest. Everyone would donate and I would gift that heart. But I would need to create under German or US law a company or some sort of legal entity the handles that... The project was called 1001hearts but I would need to find funds to find funds etc. It got really complicated.
It started with my former neighbor who had a heart attack with the age of 26. Now she has a peacemaker to assist the heart. Then another friend with the heart attack at early age... And so on. That's how came to that idea. Just to difficult from where I stand.

I think the sentiment is great, sorry that the idea stranded. I hope your images inspires more people though. That already would be a great thing. It got me thinking, sure there will be more. Keep up the great lightpaintings 👌👍
