[CR] Miho, handcut collage mural 200/110 cm

Miho was an artwork i created almost 14 years ago. It marked the end of my first year collaging with magazines clippings, after that i switched to prints. The mural was made in Cofix cafe at my hometown Thessaloniki,Greece and it was an idea of @utzo who was the co-owner of the cafe back then.It was one of the coolest cafes at the city, with tabletop games,comics,books and a unique design that made you feel like you are inside a cartoon. Sadly it couldn't survive the economic crisis that struck Greece back at 2008 and eventually closed.

The artwork was a real challenge, i choose Miho a character from the movie Sin City and after we painted the wall black i worked for about 15 days putting the pieces together and even did a little spray painting to make the moon, the mist and the buildings. The pieces were from prints of gradient colours (red, purple, blue, orange) in 120 gr paper and i used liquid glutoline as glue and varnish throughout the creation.
