The Patrol
Hi all! Here it is, finally complete after 8 hours of building, tweaking, and banging my head until the image I wanted came to fruition. As per my last posts, I found a new tool / toy software called Flowscape. A world building software that allowed me (after hours of trial and error) to import my assets, light, and BOOM! There is no limit to what you can create with Flowscape and a few DAZ3D assets... Or others if you got them. Finally, my concepts can be realized in a fully 3D animated world. It's like a flood gate was lifted, now I'm thinking of the next project, the one after that, and on it goes....
Here is the original model of the rider, a bit of this and that, including quite a few of my old textures. I then added the buildings and let the world come alive.
The hard part was finding out what format to save the object files in for import. Many of the different types merely explode when loaded. After a few hours I found the right setting. It takes a few minuted to load a model into Flowscape, and it loads upside down, but once finished importing, it rights itself and is ready to be placed in the scene. These settings are for DAZ Studio exports to work with Flowscape. Once you save, you need to remove maps from map file that is created and place with the object and mtl files. Textures, obj, and mtl together one file folder, or the textures won't read.
