What do you mean by unnatural? Nothing was done with the edges while retouching
I do read your writing before I leave the comment. But I don't know why the edge of the dress looks too clear and unsmooth with a little bit dark edge which looks like the character is composed with a snow scene.
I am so sorry to say that. I don't really mean that you compose the character and the background. But it looks like that for some reasons.
Only the reason could be is very bright lens with shallow depth of field. So while model is completely in focus, the foreground and background blurred a lot. And this visually makes this effect, though until u mention it I wouldn't even notice. Maybe because I'm always trying to work with wide opened aperture
