Hiding in the Cloud 猶抱琵琶半遮面
I shot Taipei 101 from the direction of the Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Hall. The top of 101 building was hidden in the cloud, which makes a mysterious and romantic atmosphere more than the usual spectacular 101.
Taipei 101 is the tallest building in Taiwan and an important landmark in Taipei.
When I took the photos, it was late afternoon. The dim light made the atmosphere a little dignified. So I edit the photo to brown tone and transformed the original modern skyscraper into a nostalgic feeling. It really formed an interesting conflict of contrast.
Comparing the original color photos, the two styles are very different but both beautiful, so I decided to share the two photos together.
我從國父紀念館的方向拍攝台北101，尖塔藏在雲霧中的101，比平常壯觀挺拔的101多了一股神秘浪漫的氛圍。
我拍攝的時候，已經是接近傍晚，昏暗的光線讓氣氛感覺有些凝重。因此我將照片調成棕色，把原本摩登現代的摩天大樓改造成懷舊的感覺，果然形成一種有趣的對比衝突。比對原本的彩色照片，兩者風格迥異，所以我決定把兩張照片一起跟大家分享。

Amazing shot @catwomanteresa:) The building is really impressive and the way it vanishes through the clouds create a majestic scene. I like both photos but i have a soft spot for the b&w one. The contrast between the contemporary urban landscape and the vintage filter creates an unreal effect. As if someone in the distant future is seeing an old photograph:):)

I did not know the building and i researched a bit afterwards. Very impressive constraction, you are very lucky to have it. The tallest buiding in my city is 12 stories tall, lol.
Hahaha! Yeah, the Taipei 101 is very tall. But it looks not that tall in this picture.

The more I stare at this photo the more I love it! I really like how the buildings appear to be leaning toward the center. Like it was taken with a fish eye lens.
Yes, I like the perspective view too. I took it with my cell phone. The real scene is actually even more beautiful.
