Silent presences

Silence is a temporal factor, a spiritual and religious discipline.

It is a form of intimate respect and towards others, which determines a new path of spirituality.

A spiritual discipline in many religions such as Hinduism and Catholicism (seclusion).

Silence is a unique means of expression and highly appreciated by all the cultures of the world

The absence of sounds, noise and communications leads to the creation of emotions and messages in the soul.

The lighthouses, these silent and solitary buildings, have inherent silence in their environment.

They are mute presences, significant bulwarks to the route. In their function they collect the instances of the direction, of the orientation.

They are like gurus or charismatic leaders who help us with messages to look around and above all inside.

I love the lighthouses and their solitude but also the safety that they infuse sailors through a mute ritual, without words or sounds.

They are the giants of the soul of the sea, destined to become extinct.

Today I propose a watercolor of an austere and massive lighthouse.

At his side two presences, two maritime pines, a couple.

Silenziose presenze

Il silenzio, è un fattore temporale, una disciplina spirituale e religiosa.

E' una forma di rispetto intima e verso gli altri, che determina un percorso nuovo di spiritualità.

Una disciplina spirituale in molte religioni come nell'Induismo e nel Cattolicesimo (clausura).

Il silenzio è un mezzo espressivo unico e molto apprezzato da tutte le culture del mondo

L'assenza di suoni, rumore e comunicazioni porta alla creazione di emozioni e messaggi nell'anima.

I fari, questi edifici silenziosi e solitari, hanno insito nel loro ambiente il silenzio.

Sono mute presenze, baluardi significativi alla rotta. Nella loro funzione raccolgono le istanze della direzione, dell'orientamento.

Sono come santoni o capi carismatici che con i loro ci aiutano messaggi a guardarci intorno e soprattutto dentro.

Adoro i fari e la loro solitudine ma anche la sicurezza che infondono ai naviganti attraverso una ritualità muta, senza parole o suoni.

Sono i colossi dell'anima del mare, destinati ad estinguersi.

Oggi propongo un acquarello di un austero e massiccio faro.

Al suo fianco due presenze, due pini marittimi, una coppia.

Vi lascio con la speranza che il mio lavoro pittorico vi piaccia o almeno possa dare spunti di riflessione.
