The persistence of history.
Hello to all dear friends.
Today I share a watercolor painting that I made without pencil drawing.
I needed creative freedom!
I started from the concept of modernity, of gigantic cities that invade the archaeological sites of historic cities.
I ask a few questions.
Is the future what we are building and meeting?

How invasive are industrial cities and categories of modern skyscrapers?
Will the ancient architectural beauties stand?

A theme that I have been pursuing for some time.
The contrasts and discrepancies between architecture and life styles.
An ancient city, in the foreground with the colors of the time: red and brown ocre.

It, in its fragility, is overlaid by gigantic buildings that with their redundancy annihilate the past.
Ancient and modern, a dichotomy that has never been dormant and always relevant.
But what will be our best future?

My watercolor is just an insignificant visual testimony, a small invitation to reflect.
I painted it immediately, taking less than two hours.
I hope you find it interesting.

Ciao a tutti i cari amici.
Oggi condivido un dipinto ad acquerello che ho realizzato senza disegno a matita.
Avevo bisogno di libertà creativa!
Sono partito dal concetto di modernità, di città gigantesche che invadono i siti archeologici delle città storiche.
Pongo qualche domanda.
È il futuro quello che stiamo costruendo e a cui andiamo incontro?
Quanto sono invasive le città industriali e le categorie di grattacieli moderni?
Un tema che studio da diverso tempo.
I contrasti e le discrepanze tra architettura e stili di vita.
Una città antica, in primo piano con i colori del tempo: ocre rosso e marrone.
Essa, nella sua fragilità, è sovrapposta a giganteschi edifici che con la loro ridondanza annientano il passato.
Antico e moderno, una dicotomia mai sopita e sempre rilevante.
Ma quale sarà il nostro futuro migliore?
Il mio acquerello è solo una testimonianza visiva insignificante, un piccolo invito a riflettere.
L'ho dipinto immediatamente, in meno di due ore.
Spero che lo troviate interessante.

Non ti faccio una battuta esplicita, ma la renderò abbastanza intuitiva, penso che tu possa fare un eccellente dipinto anche quando sei in una stanza particolare della casa, hai istruito anche......
Battuttaccia a parte (spero di non aver passato il segno perché volevo porre l'accento sul carattere goliardico della battuta), ritengo che tu possa fare qualcosa di decente anche in soli 2 minuti di tempo, l'istinto, la classe, la padronanza del pennello sono peculiarità che attengono alla tua persona indissolubilmente, detto questo non so minimamente che futuro possa attenderci, magari ci sarà un'inversione di tendenza e potremo sperare, soprattutto per i nostri figli, in un mondo maggiormente a misura d'uomo....

Sopra quella comoda tazza riesco a fare ottimi programmi, ragionamenti e buoni propositi. Da quello che conosco risulta essere un luogo pensante per una moltitudine di individui...altri che schifano i loro prodotti non hanno vena artistica. Grazie Marco sei un MITO!
