This is the basic formula for each area in the game. I didn’t have problem with the repetition. I like the bare-bones approach, because things are kept simple while still being interactive. There are some small puzzles you encounter, but areas are usually linear and easy to clear. More of the story, and why the Monster Empire invaded, is revealed as Meltys banters with her siblings.

The story might seem predictable but it has a very interesting plot twist that involves incest. Further into the game, you get flashback sequences to learn more about Meltys’ past and her relationship with her family. Similarly, quests can seem predictable at first, but their outcomes are some of the most imaginative shit I’ve ever encountered.

There’s a quest which has Meltys acting as a nun. She occupies a confession booth, listening to the woes of the townsfolk. A sister-loving pervert enters the booth and airs his dirty laundry. Most of the music in Meltys Quest is electronic, played with a synthesizer. Some tracks are harsh on the ears, like the music when you enter grassy plains, but those are rare. Most songs sound decent, and for an RPG maker game, it could have been worse. Battles sound suitably epic, heavy on the guitars and drums.

The tracks that lack electronic music are kind of overbearing, with standout instruments like cymbals and snare drums. The non-electronic tracks remind me of anthems played by marching bands. The opening theme song is one example of this.

Sex scene music is a mix of synthesized instruments and violins. They set a sultry tone, that's pleasant enough that it doesn’t get repetitive whenever Meltys is blowing dicks, or getting her tight pussy pounded to orgasm.

Some outfits also grant special slut skills, like a set of lingerie called the Babydoll Nighties. By activating this special skill, Meltys will get pregnant after her next creampie. With many different abilities to unlock, the game makes gathering different outfits fun.
