It wasn't super cold, but not really warm. The air was more noticably cooler.
Normally the water temperature drops slower than the air temperature, I know a lot of people that find swimming in September as good as August, even after the heat of August goes away, but this was October... and I wouldn't recommend it for everyone, but it wasn't really that bad.
