NSA hacked, hackers claim over 6% of all Bitcoins in circulations for data. This might be hard to achieve

The hackers, calling themselves "The Shadow Brokers," are also asking for 1 Million Bitcoins (around $568 Million) in an auction to release the 'best' cyber weapons and more files.

Everything around it seems quite strange but let's take a look if such a transaction can be even performed:
- 1,000,000 BTC means about 6,3 % of all BTC in circulation
- means about 10 days BTC volume (in today's numbers) of all major exchanges
- there is currently no individual who holds such an amount of BTC
- there is even no single exchange who can currently provide 1M BTC
- it's hard to imagine anyone who would like to manage such a transaction
- 600,000,000 USD would not be problem for NSA but 1M BTC will be
Everything seems that this not going to happen. So maybe it's just a marketing trick and if the hack really happened we might see soon some real NSA tools that they were using to spy on us.
Most probable scenario is that the hackers will receive some BTC and they for releasing some portion of data. However, this will be interesting to watch.
You said no one has that much coin. One person does. Satoshi Nakamoto.
Heh, it's possible but it's just an assumptions. What we know for sure is that the biggest address has 140,000 BTC - https://bitinfocharts.com/top-100-richest-bitcoin-addresses.html
