I think Pundi X is an interesting project.

It developed a payment system allowing people to pay for good and services through one of the 100,000+ XPOS devices they plan to deploy to merchants located in more than 20 countries. I would say it's a serious competitor to LoMoStar's upcoming LoMoPay.
