It reminds me of Anthony Bourdain’s MAGA apologism after the 2016 election, or Nick Cohen’s deplorable What’s Left, which I couldn’t bear for more than a few pages.

The right keeps telling us what they’re about. They hate immigrants, they hate democracy, they hate POC, they hate GSM, they hate science, medicine, and especially vaccines, and they believe there’s a global conspiracy to spray something from behind airliners.

When they lie to advance their agenda, as in the “Hillary’s email” nonsense, or the “Hunter’s laptop” bullshit, no one cares.

It’s expected.

On the other hand, we have the Left. Which DGAF about any of that. They don’t care about social liberalism or civil governance. They care about advancing an extremist Labor agenda, starting with nationalizing healthcare and education, and moving very quickly on to housing, energy, telecom, manufacturing, and labor itself.

That’s why they’re united around opposition to Israel, and they’re happy to abandon Ukraine. They can concern-troll without any interest in the plight of the Palestinian people, because it’s not about them, it’s about bringing down Global Capital (complete with the conspiracies about who holds/runs it). If you don’t believe me, compare their reaction to the war in Gaza with their response to the uncontested ethnic cleansing in Nagorno-Karabakh. If they’re worried about starvation, why is WCK posted up in Gaza, where no one has starved to death from conflict related causes, instead of Africa, where 25,000 die of starvation every day?

So when the left correctly identifies Trump as a Russian patsy, no one cares. That’s something morons like this stupid little fuck can jump on. BUT WAS HE CONVICTED!? Bitch, he admitted it, and you just invoked Hunter’s Laptop as a real thing.

So when you see bullshit ads from the left talking nonsense about how Republicans want to “cut social security,” instead of how they want to imprison Dr. Fauci for no reason, it’s because leftists can never be allies, anymore than the right can.
