Hello friends and family!

Here is my entry for this week's #nowplaying contest by @nowplaying-music. Feel free to share some music as well; the contest is running continually ;)

Well, I had a crush on Julian Casablancas for numerous years lol. Must be the unbothered badass attitude and charisma. But the lead singer of 'The Strokes' as well as 'The Voidz' was always an excellent singer and songwriter to me. I really like his voice, it's pretty unique and can be calm and aggressive at the same time. The complexity of the lyrics often unravel after a couple of times you listen.

Julian Fernando Casablancas was born and raised in New York where he also met his fellow 'The Strokes' band members while attending different schools.

11th Dimension, released in 2009 is a rare solo track. The video is an explosion of colours and various styles, telling a tale of the struggles as a human being, all through different experiences and circumstances. The lyrics are holding a mantra I decided to choose: "Forgive them, even if they are not sorry". The lyrics are down below.
