Joe Pass (1929 – 1994)
Joe Pass was one of the most aclamed guitar player of his time, he played with the most important musicians that maked history of jazz. In this post I share a classical hit. Summertime by George Gershwin (1898 - 1937)
Mike Stern (1953)
Mark Stern brought the sound of telecaster and rock to jazz. Worried about having the timbre of his guitar as a own voice. I share the record that put he like one of the awesome jazz players, Fat Time by Miles Davis (1926 – 1991), With Miles Davis (Trumpet), Bill Evans (Soprano Saxophone), Marcus Miller (Bass), and Al Foster (Drums).
Fabio Leal (1980)
Fabio is a brazilian jazz guitarrist strongly influenced by the music of his country. In this track he play “Preciso me Encontrar” by Candeia (1935 – 1978) with the Antropojazz group, with Cuca Teixeira (Drums), Lucy Brand (Vocals), Yaniel Matos (Piano), and Sidiel Vieira (Bass).
