Now Playing Week 3 - Vampire Weekend

Vampire Weekend's songs are too catchy to resist. So when their single "Holiday" first showed up in TV commercials, I tried not to hold it against them. And you shouldn't either, because then you'd be missing out on some of the most inventive and interesting hook-heavy pop songs of the last decade. Polyrhythmic traps, melodic guitars, arty lyrics, and ridiculously catchy lead vocals all delivered with a blend of world music and post-punk sensibilities, this band is a lot of fun to listen to.
