The wheel had the random trajectory of a coin rolling and spinning before coming to rest on the tossing side.
It had begun by crushing a part of the queuing line, a real snake, several thousand people long.
It had passed through the middle of it and the people in the tail who escaped from the wheel fell like dominoes; dominoes that quickly came to life and then dispersed, screaming.
The wheel was sowing destruction and death.
It carried power lines with it, causing several fires.
Many people were lying in the vicinity of the passage of the giant coin.
Many people had one or more crushed limbs. Some of them were cut in half at the trunk and tried to crawl as best they could while groaning.
Momo saw a group of security types including the two guys who had caught them in the act of rolling illicit substances. A man with a headset and walkie-talkie designated the ice cream kiosk.
Farid cried out:
"I don't know about you, but I'm getting the hell out of here with your Momo beard, they must already think we're Islamists."
While talking, he looked at Lisa with suspicion and intrigue. The group of security types was getting closer by jogging.
"Run, Momo!" Get out of here!"
On this, Farid ran away, sneaking into the crowd with the ease of a gazelle.
Momo tried to do the same; his legs seemed heavy, he felt like running in slow motion.
Also, for fear of being caught, he did not turn around.
