All the Mourning
I don't see humanity taking the right path
I see why people think aliens are time travelers
Because it is evident mankind will need to do so
Simply to survive

Personally I think E.T.'s are real
And the other half of them are time travelers
From humanity's future
In an attempt to salvage what's left
And breed a species that once was
But can no longer exist in the same way
After the nuclear Holocaust
Mutually assured destruction
Just wasn't enough
To keep America from goading
The rest of the planet
Some of us may think we know for sure
And some of us just cannot understand it
It's undoubtable that this world is destined for ruin
But still none of us question just what we're pursuing
I've known my whole life something's been wrong
But lately it's been more clear
That I may as well just disappear
No one has chosen to adhere
To all of the warnings
I don't want Armageddon to be here
I can't handle all the mourning
