A day in the life : Day 359
The day moved slower than I expected, but it wasn’t unpleasant. Sometimes, there’s a calm rhythm to doing small, unimportant things. I started with a simple breakfast and spent some time cleaning the kitchen. It’s strange how even small chores can feel grounding when done without rushing.
By afternoon, I decided to take a short walk. The weather was mild, not too hot, not too cold — just quiet. I noticed the same street dogs resting under the same tree, and it felt oddly reassuring, like life around me hadn’t changed much. Maybe that’s what stability feels like — small things staying the same when everything else feels uncertain.
When I got back, I went through some old notes and half-finished ideas I had written weeks ago. Most of them didn’t make much sense now, but a few lines stood out. It reminded me that sometimes you just need to keep writing or creating, even if it doesn’t click right away. Things start fitting together later, when you least expect it.
The evening came quietly. I made a light dinner, kept my phone away for a while, and just sat there — doing nothing. It’s becoming clear that silence doesn’t always mean loneliness. Sometimes, it’s just space for your mind to breathe.
Nothing special happened today, but it felt steady — and steady is enough for now.
