A Nostalgia Crash

Do you ever feel weird inside, and you can't place why or get yourself to do the work you have to do, so you decide to clean your laptop so that message about running out of space stops coming up reminding you that you’re disorganized and that you could lose all your files from a crash at any moment if you don’t do something soon, and you happen to be listening to an album that is pretty new but her style is the same as it ever was and reminds you of when you were 26, and while you’re at it cleaning you’re going through old photos trying to get rid of the blurry ones of trees and thighs and you see yourself at 24 driving across the country with an exboyfriend who never told you he loved you but you loved him so much and now he has a kid and now you’re in love with someone else but this singer’s voice reminds you so much of him anyway that's it and yeah it’s so weird so fucking weird to see yourself and even think about those things you felt those things you did from back when you were that other person and that person and those things are still inside somewhere they're not going anywhere you'll always be the one in that plaid green and purple dress the one in that sunwashed photo he took of you and Luna in Montana, and it just feels so weird, time, you know?
