Svortland Sentrum
Svortland er sentrum i Bømlo kommune.
Nede ved Storavatnet ligg Bømlo kulturhus som vart teke i bruk hausten 2005.
I bakgrunnen ser me Bremnes kyrkje som stod ferdig i 1869. Til høgre på biletet ser me Sams Senter som vart teke i bruk i 1985. Seinare har det vore to utvidingar på kjøpesenteret med 10 års mellomrom. Det første i 1995 og det neste i 2005.
No er det i gang ein ny utviding på denne bygninga.
Svortland is the centre of Bømlo municipality.
Near the Storavatnet is the Bømlo Cultural Center, which was commissioned in autumn 2005.
In the background, we see the church of Bremnes which was completed in 1869. To the right of the picture, we see Sams Center, which was used in 1985. There were two extensions at the shopping centre 10 years apart. The first in 1995 and the next in 2005.
Now there is a new expansion of this building.
