Ona
Ona er ei lita øy som ligg lengst ute mot havet vest for Romsdalskysten. Næraste by er Molde. Like etter andre verdskrig var det 370 innbyggjarar på Ona og naboøya Husøya.
Her er eit par bilete frå området. Seinare vil eg publisera fleire biletet frå desse to øyane.
Ona is a small island that lies furthest to the sea west of the Romsdal coast. The nearest town is Molde. Just after the Second World War, there were 370 inhabitants of Ona and the neighbouring island of Husøya.
Here are a couple of pictures from the area. Later, I want to publish more of the image from these two islands.

Flotte bilder! Jeg søkte etter Ona på nettet, og så at det kun var 17 fastboende der i dag, så det er litt av en forandring fra tiden like etter andre verdenskrig. Det er vel ikke lett å bo på en så liten øy, så jeg forstår godt at mange valgte å flytte vekk.

Kan hende heng det slik saman at det på eine øya, Ona, er 16, og på den andre øya, Husøya, er det 14 fastbuande. Elles har eg tenkt å publisera fleire bilde og skriva meir frå dette øysamfunnet.

With the first sight I thought it was a wallpaper! After reading your description found the actual history. What a nice view! By the way, how many people are living there currently? Obviously it is more than 370. Really great photography. I wish I could go there. Thanks for sharing and introducing a new place.

I recently did a search on the internet about Ona. I found out that in 2018 there are only around 30 residents on the island. But besides, there are many holidaymakers there, especially during the summer.
I will come up with more information about this in a later post and explain why the population has shown such a development.
