Husøy og Henning Mankell.
Krimforfattaren Henning Mankell vart så glad i øysamfunnet at han kjøpte seg eit hus på Husøya.
Dessverre fekk han kreft og fekk ikkje bruka dette huset så lenge. I dag har Dramatikerforbundet arva huset etter krimforfattaren. Sjå link: http://dramatiker.no/medlemskapet/mankellhuset/
Ein fantastisk fin plass med utsikt mot havet i vest og Ona og fyret i nordvest. Bileta viser korleis huset glir fint inn i miljøet på dette vakrea øysamfunnet.
Crime author Henning Mankell was so fond of the island community that he bought a house on Husøya.

One fantastic, sweet spot to the sea to the west and Ona and the lighthouse in the northwest. The pictures show how Mankellhuset fits nicely into the environment of this beautiful island community.
