In Stavanger Noway, this monument celebrates the Independence of Norway with the 3 giant swords. Unfortunately you will never know this because there are no signs around it. Here, The victorious Viking chief Harald Fairhair proclaimed himself the first king of the Norwegians c 880 AD.
