All coins are falling - why are you selling?

I suppose a lot of you guys here are owners of different cryptocurrencies, at least Bitcoin. And I suppose a lot of you are selling right now.

Care to elaborate on why?

Have you lost faith? Crawling back to FIAT-currency?

Or are you hodling?

Personally I'm not selling, except that I'm converting some of my alts into Steem. But Bitcoin, Litecoin and Ethereum are in my opinion safe bets long term. And I will probably buy more once it stabilize. I know it's in human nature to be short term thinking, and I've been investing for so many years that I've learned the hard way how pointless it is for most of us to speculate and trade. Do your due diligence and invest. For me cryptocurrencies are easy. I strongly believe they will be worth A LOT in the future, so I have no stop loss, no nothing. The only thing I do is to buy more on dips and crashes. Note: I'm not jeapordizing anything going on in "real life", so all my money invested in cryptos are completely surplus-money. (And I'm not encouraging anyone to spend money they cant afford to lose)

Thumbs up. Stay the course. I was thinking of writing on this as well later today. Seize the day exciting times lie ahead!

Good thoughts. I think many altcoin believers are having trouble right now with this bear market. Keep your head up.

It's going to be interesting to see if we get a lot of fresh blood in the market now when hopefully weaker hands are wiped out.

Over time, I learned never to sell. Winners and losers, just HODLing them for the longest time.

Love it!! Thank your this. Definitely made my day :D

It is, indeed, an important question.

Why sell when prices are going down.

It's counterintuitive, to say the least, to put yourself deeper into the hole when you see things are in red. Although, realize that when you do, you have to be banking on the asset's value to go up at one point in time. The problem some people have is, they tell everyone to hold when they don't know how invested are these people in the industry.

We're all here for different reasons.

It would be worth taking note of the people predicting doom & gloom during this downturn.

I wonder how many of them are selling at a loss now, only to buy back in later at a higher price?

I love these day-traders.

There have been a lot of amateur speculators entering the crypto world in the beginning of 2017 and they are probably panic selling, realizing that an asset has its downs as well.

True. It is human nature to look for short term. What about Dash Coin's for long term investment ?

I have no answer for that. I'm currently only invested in Bitcoin, Litecoin, Ethereum and Steem(it). I try to stick to what I (partly) understand - in the case with cryptos I really don't understand everything, because I'm not a techie. But I dare to say I understand human behavior and is good at catching trends, so there could be enormous potential in a lot of cryptos. The hard part is picking the right one. I'm sorry I can't help you with that :)

Selling!! I'm buying... well, trading on the Market SBD to STEEM POWER!!!

thanks for the nice words of encouragement
