Interesting stuff, and kind of odd that no one has though of this before. A parabolic disc has been used to focus satellite signals on the receiving end the last 60 years.

Yes and more is much simpler and cheaper. and certainly there will be other things to discover in the future through technology and science that can not be imagined in our day.
