Follow Me to an Island in the Arctic - Insel in der Arktis!

Hey guys, while I have been in northern Norway I have visited an island called Senja. I wanted to reach the place Torsken on the island. In December you will not find any public transportation there, by car you are fine and it is really great to drive through the loneliness. I did not see any people around me. This was the perfect place to capture some nice breathtaking landscape pictures. I had just 3 hours daylight through the polar nights in the arctic. The rest of the day is just dark. Mystic and andventurous, with these two words I would describe the northern part of Norway! Put on your warm clothes and follow me :) !!

On my way from the mainland to the island that is called Senja

You have to cross over some bridges to reach the island

Can you imagine to live in one of those little red house next to the fjord?

Or could you imagine to live in one of those white houses next to the Norwegian sea?

On the other side you can see a village

Looks like everything is closed during winter time

Are these restaurants or peoples home. I had no clue ....

I made a walk next to a boat

The calmness of this area was very unreal, cause I am not used to have this calmness in Germany

Germany can be very loud compared to this place, thats me standing around :)

Look at all these small trees, they can not get bigger because of the ice age back in the days

no words for this spectacular unusual beauty

Hallo! Während ich mich in Nordnorwegen rum geschlendert habe besuchte ich die Insel Senja. Mein Ziel war der Ort Torsken auf der Insel. Im Dezember gibt es dort wie gar nichts, das Auto ist das letztmögliche Transportmittel. Die Einsamkeit auf vier Reifen zu geniessen ist unbezahlbar! Menschen habe ich nicht wirklich gesehen. Das macht das perfekte Foto aus, keine Menschenseele weit und breit, die ins Bild hineinhüpfen kann. Der Einsamkeit steht nichts mehr im Wege! Ich hatte nur 3 Stunden Tageslicht während der Polarnächte. Die Arktis ist ein Atemberaubendes Gebiet um die Natur hautnah zu sehen und zu spüren. Mystisch und abenteuerlich, mit diesen zwei Worten würde ich den nördlichen Teil Norwegens beschreiben! Also Männer, zieht euch warm an und folg mir :) !!!

Einige Brücken müssen erst überquert werden, um die Insel zu erreichen

Könnt ihr euch vorstellen in so einem Häuschen am Fjord zu wohnen?

Oder könnt ihr euch vorstellen in so einem Häuschen direkt am europäischen Nordmeer zu wohnen?

Auf der anderen Seite ist ein Dörfchen zu sehen

Während der Winterzeit ist hier wohl alles abgestorben

Restaurants oder Wohnhäuser, ich weiss es nicht ...

Spaziergang am Kai

Die Ruhe im Gebiet war sehr unecht. Diese Ruhe ist für mich sehr ungewöhnlich, da es diese in Deutschland nicht gibt. Glaubt mir selbst in dem abgelegensten Ort wird es in Deutschland nie so ruhig sein wie in der Arktis :P

Deutschland kann im Vergleich sehr sehr laut sein, ach ja und das da auf dem Bild, das bin ich, ich steh da einfach blöd rum :)

All die Mini Bäumchen, die wachsen gar nicht mehr viel (hat was mit der Eiszeit zu tun). Hat wohl keine Entwicklung mehr statt gefunden

Keine Worte für diese spektakuläre ungewöhnliche Schönheit

Orte wie diese sind zeitlos...
