Earth Calling for Tesla?

On April 10th 2017, Tesla market cap surpassed General Motors for the first time in history. In mid-June, Tesla was valued more than $11bn above GM. It seems that gravity is finally pulling TSLA back.

Some are bullish though: Tesla's stock could be worth "multiples" of its current $51 billion market capitalization, according to Cathie Wood, CEO of ARK Invest.

When the next biggest market for its products, Norway, is also one of the smallest countries in the world, it does not seem like a bulletproof business plan to me. TSLA is already bleeding cash: What happens when the subsidies evaporate?

I think that everyone wants a Tesla at the moment.
It can only get even better when they release their much more affordable car the Model 3.
Let's see how many more people are going to swept up with this Tesla hype.

I don't believe they can last other than a specialty vehicle. Recent reports say that the CO2 that is produced to build the batteries for ONE telsa vehicle is about the same as driving a V8 gas vehicle for 8 years....

So true...It mostly political reason for sponsoring them. Btw: hydrogen cars release much less CO2.

Hydrogen fuel cells emit only water vapor if I'm correct...

Yes. The hydro-cars also have a battery to store energy, but much smaller and fuelled by energy from the vehicle itself.
