Nike vs Adidas - a question for the ages (Nike vs Adidas - tidenes spørsmål Norsk under engelsk)
Today, my blog deals with an all-encompassing question that appeared during dinner at our house yesterday.
It all started with the smallest girl wondering if she could get a hooded sweater with Nike brand.
Nothing wrong with that I thought, and said that she could of course get that.
Little did I know that the discussion of the ages began when my eldest daughter threw up a fire torch in the form of the question; why not an Adidas sweater?
Until now I had a quiet dinner, put the potato in my throat when I heard the glosses and curses of Adidas, who came out of the youngest girl.
According to her, she would rather go with the hide of freshly skinned baby seals like wearing a single piece of clothing that had "the devil's mark" on her.
The discussion lasted and the one horrible thing took over for the other.
In the end, Dad had enough, the foot was put down and the kids were sent out of the kitchen.
A quiet dinner is important, but the question hang like a damp hand around the throat.
Nike or Adidas? What would I have chosen myself? Didn't I always had a love for Adidas?

(((I dag vil bloggen min handel om ett altomfattende spørsmål som dukket opp under middagen hjemme hos oss i går.
Det hele startet med at minste jenta lurte på om hun kunne få en hettegenser med Nike merke på.
Ikke noe galt med det tenkte jeg, og sa at det kunne hun selvfølgelig få.
Lite ante jeg at tidenes diskusjon ble satt i gang da min eldste datter kastet opp en brannfakkel i form av spørsmålet; hvorfor ikke en Adidas genser?
Jeg som hadde sett for meg en rolig middag satte poteten i vrangstrupen da jeg hørte glosene og forbannelsene over Adidas, som kom ut av minste jenta.
Ifølge henne kunne hun like gjerne gått med huden til nyflådde selunger som å ta på seg ett eneste plagg som hadde” djevelens merke” på seg.
Diskusjonen varte og rakk og den ene besvergelsen tok over for den andre.
Til slutt hadde far fått nok, foten ble satt ned og unger ble sendt ut av kjøkkenet.
Matro er viktig, men spørsmålet hang igjen som en klam hånd rundt halsen.
Nike eller Adidas? Hva ville jeg selv valgt? Jeg har jo alltid hatt en forkjærlighet for Adidas.

Brands are not really important but between them two i would choose to support a European brand, thus ADIDAS.
That was my thought also, support the European one

Nike is making clothes for active people,
Adidas is making clothes for hipsters, wannabees and charlatans. (Sorry about that, a bit harsh maybe.) :)
why not teach your daughters that all brands are stupid, you pay 90% for the name and not the comfort of the clothing... stop feeding the capitalist system we unfortunately have to live in! buy unbranded clothes
You have a point and a opinion there @flatman.
For me personally, I dont mind that brands cost a bit ekstra.
It is just a market like any other market and people can decide for them self if they want to spend ekstra money or not.
Actually I am a bit glad for the diversity amongst us. It would have been a boring world if every one bought the same stuff just for the price.
But, hey, that is only my thoughts
