North America Summit Location

At the beginning of the North American summit, there were discussions about Pyongyang, Panmunjom, and Mongolia. Of these candidates, Singapore was the final choice.

First, Singapore appears to be a representative neutral country.
Singapore is a diplomatic neutral area where the United States and North Korea interact.

Two embassies are located.

The Washington Post said Singapore had diplomatic ties with North Korea, operated a diplomatic mission in North Korea, and conducted diplomatic activities smoothly in third countries in Asia.

In fact, the first summit meeting between Chinese President Hu Jintao and Ma Ying-jeou of Taiwan in 2015 was held in Singapore.
