Step out of the Shadow

I love the shadows. I'm comfortable there. I feel warm and safe in the darkness. Don't get me wrong I love helping people and will do my best to help those in need. Yet, I much prefer doing it from the shadows.

Some say I should step out and be known. This is my destiny.

Never one to love being the center of attention, the shadows always called to me. When I think about being in front and center, my heart starts to overbeat.

I don't need recognition for the help I give. I give help where I see a need that touches my heart. When I help someone, most times, they do not even know. To me, that is the best help of all.

I have to say I am once again really enjoying doing the daily Freewrite. I started doing them again to help a friend out. It has been 5 days now. To be very honest I know this has been a great exercise for me too.

It's been so long since I have written stories. I think I was afraid to try again because of how much time had gone by. I am finding that the PUSH I needed was in helping someone else.

These are the secrets no one talks about. If you have the right intentions when helping others, in the end, you receive so much more if you take the time to look. 💕
