Oppenheimer oscars?

I think it's Nolan's to lose.

He probably wants an Oscar. The Academy probably wants to give him one. And this movie finally gives them that opportunity. It's critically lauded, has been a big moneymaker, which to them is a bonus since they feel like that will translate into better ratings. It also will probably get every technical nomination available. At this point I just can't see anything else overtaking it.

The only downside is it's released in the summer and not end of year. But that wasn't a problem for "Everything Everywhere All At Once" so I doubt it would be one for "Oppenheimer."
