Let's code a project together

in #nodejs8 years ago

Hi friends,

I will start with a small #nodejs project which will help transfer multiple accounts certain amount of SBD or STEEM.
My idea in this project is to help new developers in the process or getting ready for your next project. Most of the time we take lots of tools and knowledge for granted.

Right now I've been thinking of few topics I will like to cover.

Topics

  • Getting git basics, create repository, configure globals, have basic git knowledge in the most common commands.
  • Learn BDD development using Cucumber.
  • Run tests and verify results
  • Setting up NPM for NodeJS dependencies.
  • Setting up Sublime text editor with certain plugins and configuration to suit your programming language needs.
  • Start an Express application for web usage.
  • Save data in MongoDB
  • Get some MongoDB basic usage and queries.
  • Apply styles to the web application.
  • Deploy application in Heroku.
  • Run tests and verify results

I will start this sort of crash course on getting a NodeJS, Express, MongoDB,

Sort:

THIS is a great idea! Would I be out of the element if all my previous experience coding is what I did in the university? I sort can hack my way through Visual Basic and got passing grades in FORTRAN and COBOL.

Sure thing it will be an easy course please engage and hopefully we will be building something nice and useful. :)

this will be me afterwards...

We have planted already 4141.37 trees
out of 1,000,000

Let's save and restore Abongphen Highland Forest
in Cameroonian village Kedjom-Keku!
Plant trees with @treeplanter and get paid for it!
My Steem Power = 20719.74
Thanks a lot!
