Photos: DAPL protesters arrested, camp cleared
Police and National Guard moved in 24hrs after the Wednesday afternoon deadline to leave the area to arrest the remaining protesters. They moved in with Humvees and guns drawn some of the police went shelter to shelter clearing each one while the rest of the police moved in on the remaining protesters gathered outside. In total their were 46 arrest made and the camp was cleared in just a couple hours.
Hopefully this protest will be drawing to a close. The Tribe has suffered long enough and many people on the reservation are ready for things to get back to normal.

Clean up of the camp started immediately because of the danger of the Cannonball river flooding and washing trash into the Missouri river.
