I live in the black hills of South Dakota.. This has dribbled into the local news a little but for the most part been blacked out . I am not against using pipelines for moving oil but I think it's complete insanity to just wildly mildly cross the Missouri River with this pipeline. A break would then affect the habitat of thousands of animals and farms as well as thousands of people who use this river for drinking water.
Agree with your thoughts completely. Nothing wrong with using technology and infrastructure like this to transport energy. The problem is the corporate owners putting $$$ ahead of people and an entire fucking Eco-System. Humans were not born to be parasitic to the planet.
