Swedish academy suspended for investigating allegations of sexual misconduct suspended the year's Nobel Prize in Literature.

The permanent secretary of the academy Andor Alsson said that this decision has been taken to bring back the confidence of the academy before the announcement of the next Nobel Laureate.

The award for the first time since 1943 was postponed.
