Coaching that works!

When is coaching really effective? It's not about using one method where cliënts have to fit the protocol.
Coaching is only effective when you really talk with a cliënt instead to a cliënt. A lot of therapists are only talking to cliënts where they should listen and respond.

We use serveral different ways to connect with people and modify our coachingstrategy so it will be effective.

We like to use the Theory of Erik Erickson, a psychologist who stated that we humans have to learn to cope with questions in our life and coupled it to an age. Cliënts suffer from the symptoms of their problem but have no clue about the origin. When you're able to define a certain age, ou can ask them about that lifetime. Did something occur, or what happened when you were .... This gives us a an opportunity to get to the origin or as close as the origin of their problem.

NLP
Neuro Linguistiq Programming, developed by dr. Richard Bandler around the sixties and seventies. Bandler discovered why some therapists were more succesfull with their cliënts then others. They had the same education!
NLP is not only about goalsetting or moddeling succesfull people. It's more a way to get from a black box brain to a white box brain. In a black box brain there's no control or insight of the thinking process, it's more likely that people 'overcome'things. In a white box you can see youre thinking proces and be able to influence them so you'll get another result.

The Enneagram
It's a method to define people into 9 personality types, each one with their own charaktaristic view of the world, each type with their main sinn, and virtue two wings and a counter stress type and relief type. It's like your own understandeble manual! When you know youre manual, you can recognize your behavior and correct it if needed.

EFT
Emotional Freedom Technique, in our body are meridians, lines all oer our body that connect. These connections can be tapped whilest saying simple sentences. The effect of using the right sentences can be huge! I had a problem with my childhood and gave it a gravity of 9. (10 is the highest level) so I had a big problem with authoroty. After a few rounds of tapping it resized to a 2! In only half an hour!
