Boterwaag, Nijmegen
A few days ago I visited the oldest city of the Netherlands and took this picture of De Waagh, also known as Boterwaag.
It is a historic weighhouse located on the Grote Markt in the center of Nijmegen and it was built around 1600.
In the weigh-house the Dutch government was able to ensure that fair trade took place.
These days De Waagh is a Grand Cafe.

The architecture is stunning, just the way so much of it is over in Europe. I love how the background has the rows of buildings strung all together.
What a grand cafe that is, framed up with the cobblestone street.
It is a marvelous ancient city. Definitely worth a visit.

I was wondering, from where i know name of that city ... Finally I figured it out. It was part of one episode in "Band of Brothers" which I love :)

ik heb werk verkocht via werkaandemuur.nl 1x in de 5 jaar dat ik er zit denk ik , ben er ook niet aktief mee bezig , op 500px.com heb ik ook meerdere dingen verkocht maar daar ben ik weg om dat ze nu met een andere partij zijn gaan werken , en op redbubble.com heb ik ook al eens wat werk verkocht . Het nadeel van dergelijk sites vindt ik je hebt geen feed back van de klant je weet niet waarom men het koopt wat is de motivatie, je komt er nooit achter waarom iemand enthousiast wordt van je werk om het te kopen. Als je iets in een winkel verkoopt aan iemand dan beleef je die emotie mee en dat motiveert je om meer te maken.
Daar heb je een punt. Ik heb nu 2 keer wat verkocht via WADM. Vind het wel een prima site eerlijk gezegd. Wist trouwens niet dat je ook werk kon verkopen via 500PX. Ga dat eens uitzoeken. Ik post daar al twee jaar foto's.
