Today I bring you a quick review of The Escapists 2 to be release on January 11 on the Nintendo Switch eShop.

The Escapists 2 is the third game in The Escapists series developed by Mouldy Toof Studios.
It’s a strategy game played from a top-down perspective where you, my dear Steemian, are a prisoner that must escape prison. How? Well, that’s not that simple as it sounds. As we all know from TV series and movies, first a prisoner has to build a reputation, get friends, go MacGyver with anything you find inside the prison and of course, survive brawls.
If you are new to the series, you will have a great time with this game and if you already played the other ones the multiplayer an split-screen co-op modes adds more challenges that will keep you playing for hours.
The Escapists 2 has been around for some time. It was first released for PC, Xbox One and PS4 on August 22nd, 2017. Based on many reviews the only cons of this game is the lack of enough prisions to play. A map editor was released on December 5, 2017 available on the Steam workshop. I couldn't find any data if the Switch version is going to feature an editor as well.
According to Nintendo’s web, it will feature:
- 10 Prisons.
- 2 player split-screen play, and up to 4 player co-operative and versus online multiplayer.
- Drop-in/Drop-out Online/Split screen multiplayer.
- Over 300 customisations.
- Multi-storey Prisons.
Let's hope to get more prisions through DLCs.
