i'm not exactly sure what you're asking, but for me steem beats everything. if you look at dtube alone it's got a crappy server and very little functionality compared to youtube. but everything is built around steemit and steem where you are directly rewarded for creating content. none of that admoney bullshit. other creative platforms can be made on top of steem like utopianio (i'm sure there'll be more once smt kicks in).
so unless the giants decide to do something about steem and crush it, or come up with a similar environment, i'd say it's clearly better.
