Ah the innovative Nintendo Switch, its a hybrid home / portable gaming console, that will turn you into hard core gamer if you let it suck you in. It's still a relatively new console that will very soon get some more A+ tittle's like Super Smash and Fortnite that was just announced at E3 yesterday. I have to say I love my Switch, its really convenient to be able to play anywhere and continue where you left off on your big screen tv, it really encourages you to finish any game. The battery life is more than sufficient , it has yet to die on me during a portable session, plus I always use airplane mode to save battery life. The System never really shuts off, it pretty much sleeps and you continue exactly where ever you left off, which is a really nice feature, no need to wait for a boot screen just game!!

Top shoulder buttons are pretty comfortable to use, much better than the ones found on the 3DS. There's a headphone jack (on the left) a compartment to insert your switch game (on the far left), volume controls (on the right), a power button (on the far left) and a vent that has a fan that I have yet to hear turn on (in the middle)

Really cool kick stand for when gaming on a table.

This is the docking station when you want to charge or dock the Switch to play on your big screen TV.

The Joy Con Controllers can easily be removed by a push button lock and attached to game as a single controller or can be removed to act as two separate controllers for a 2 player experience.

The Joy con controllers removed from the switch console and attached to create a single controller. The 2 analog thumb sticks are a bit on the small side and the other buttons on the front are small just like on the 3ds but that's to be expected for portable controls. I haven't had a problem with the size as of yet but there's a pro controller that Nintendo sells separately to remedy that. I found the Directional pad on the left side of the controller strange at first because each direction is a dedicated individual button very much like the yellows ones found on the N64 controller, its a bit of a blast from the past, but they're like that for a reason. Since both sides of the controller (left blue/Right Red) can act as 2 controllers when detached for 2 players games, so that they become identical when they're turned horizontal, it makes perfect sense!

A Switch cartridge compared to an original gameboy cartridge. The switch cartridge is about the size of a SD card.

This carrying case did not come with the Switch, I bought this awesome leather Zelda Breath of the wild case separately.

Xenoblade Chronicles 2: My first Switch game that I'm really enjoying so far and the graphics are really nice! One really cool feature about the Switch is that you can take screen shots and video clips with a push of a button on the switch controller.
