I didn't expect many Nikki Haley voters to not vote for Trump. Polling indicated many would come home to Trump in the end.

For the others though does the RNC speech actually change anything? I feel it would just make them regret supporting Nikki Haley.

There was a way for that speech to go that focused mainly on Biden and not Trump, but that didn't happen. It was basically Haley going against her prior principles regarding Trump.
