Nike Training Club -- 2018 come back plus the journey towards now.

Come back is real --- and so is the struggle yes!

I haven't written in a while --- juggling between work, pilates training, and other activities really keeps my plate full. But don't get it wrong -- i love my life!

So here comes another post about fitness for everyone!

Did you know, Nike is one of the most generous brands in the world? I have been part of Nike Running Club since 2016 --- it's a community of runners and they give free training on running (proper form, hydration during runs, etc.) If you are a runner yourself, you know the app Nike+ Run Club and runners/pacers use that to track their distance and pace.

Last year, Nike had officially launched Nike Training Club in the Philippines. It is an app too you can download on your iOS or Android phones and it will help you achieve your fitness goals. You can download it right now and see how awesome it is!

Alongside the live Nike Running Club, there's also a live version of Nike Training Club in Manila. It was first held at Kerry Sports in Shangrila the Fort but was moved to Focus Athletics in Pasong Tamo. There are Nike coaches that guides a group of people into achieving strength and endurance through various workouts.

I have been in love ever since! I never knew fitness would be this fun! I have been going in and out of the gym but has always been intimidated. But NTC has always been really supportive and motivating. Hence I continue going to NTC whenever schedule permits. (Its schedule is every Wednesdays and Saturdays.)

Can you see the difference from the very first picture? I didn't! hahaha. But I know I am getting better because the weights I can handle are getting heavier and I am just very happy overall. Did you know that every time you workout, you release different happy hormones? Let's discuss that on a separate topic.

Those images were taken from September to December.

And the images I'm about to share are from NTC's Christmas Party last December --- I can tell you guys training is my happy pill and my happy place too! This was extra special though because of Nike's freebies, foods and drinks and all the coaches are present. See awesome pictures below.

After two months of break, they're finally back! The first session is called NTC 101 (before we look forward to NTC Strength and NTC Endurance but they kind of improved it) last February 3 but I wasn't able to get a slot! You register via NTC App and wait for the confirmation email. That way, they can control how many people gets in the session. In NRC, they also have limited slots but they can accommodate more because it's in an open area and not in the gym.

Last Wednesday, I got a slot to join NTC Endurance care of Coach Lian and so I went. It was really challenging and satisfying at the same time and we all know our whole body would be screaming the next day because of what we did. Don't be afraid of the soreness though --- it just means your muscles are being developed. I really love it when I feel sore because it means my workout is working and I'm burning fat too.

We start with dynamic exercises and stretching to fire up our heart rate:

And that concludes my come back in NTC :) The workout is called Wipeout 2.0 --- check it out at NTC app if you wanna do it too!

If you wanted to come train with us at Nike training club, just download the NTC app, go to events and register there! Registration opens every Sunday at 2pm and you will receive a confirmation email if you got in!

I guarantee you aside from shedding those unwanted fats and getting stronger, you will have a solid family of supportive athletes too!

It looks like such a great community. Don't worry too much on how you look. How you feel is way more important. As long as your feeling healthy and having fun, the results will come. It's easier to stick with when you're having fun.

I’m in awe how Nike really puts an effort in creating a community of athletes that support each other. :) if you ever visit my country i look forward to working out with you! :)
