step in step out forgot the towel, water on the floor
ablutions ponder days ahead wash head then face some more

feet never seem to get a scrub but armpits get it thrice
a comfort thing a shower is bits washed, it's clean, that's nice

In warmer climes two or three per day is quite the thing
presenting opportunities to bathe and also sing

in winters cold foreboding thoughts before the day's begun
in after chilled to bone by wind, fascimile of our sun

drip dry or scrub with towel depends mainly on the weather
I like to wander off in buff and dry outside like leather

more likely I will wrap it up, slip on socks and pants
in cold dark north to run around in nude, I ne'er get the chance
