The man sat on his throne,
while a cloaked figure,
entered his kingdom.
Mans mood was grim.
He clutched at his
Ill-begotten gains,
not the blood pump,
trying to bribe as ever.
The weary purveyor,
rolled his eye sockets,
askingwithout preamble,
Money or Power?I sell both.
Heart for money,soul for power,
The man leapt up from his throne,
and gleefully paid for his toll,
after all,what good is a soul?
This was deep. There's some vivid imagery too. This had me thinking.
The moral: avoid shortsightedness and fast gains. Thank you.
