BLACK IS BEAUTIFUL

Sadly, the social media portrays or should I say pays so much attention to white skinned babies giving little or no attention to the black skinned babies. This is quite unfortunate because we the users of these social media tend to consider that light skinned babies are more beautiful or handsome than dark skinned babies which is a no no for me.

Everyday, I go through the internet, I see pictures of babies being use for advertisement but 95% of them are light skinned, have you ever asked why? They feel light skin is more adorable, more important in the society, more beautiful, more appealing. And because we tend to swallow everything we see in the internet hook, line and sinker, we are cool with what they think.

Growing up, I saw a lot of babies of different skin color, I feel that everyone is unique despite the skin color. You can be a top scientist, a top plastic surgeon, an inventor, etc, It's up to you.
The media intimidates so many people and make them feel inferior due to their color of skin. They believe that only the light skinned can do better.

I am black, I am handsome, I am adorable, I can be the best I can, I love my color, I don't believe in racism, I love dark kids, I love dark people because God created us all specially.
