politics in my country

politics in Nigeria.... we the citizens are too myopic just look at the people in power since 1960 they have ruled generations and yet nothing has changed . nothing to write home about. since 1960, common electricity which ought to be the first stem to development in any country, my country Nigeria don't have and have constantly neglected.
no employment opportunities, no jobs when millions of people graduates and creative minds are willing and ready to work yet no jobs are provided in my country, the most annoying thing is that no industries are created, no plans are even implemented to provide industries which will eventually lead to job creations in Nigeria.
crime rates in my country has skyrocket over the past years from terrorism and terrorist case like the boko haram terrorist group ravaging the north eastern part of the country to the Niger delta militants who called themselves Niger delta avengers causing chaos and troubles in the Niger delta region to the baddo group causing chaos in ikorodu a part of Lagos states. arm robbery and kidnapping issues have become the order of the day in my country. to the extent that it has become a normal routine in my country were everybody no longer pick interest in it. yet they stay in big mansions, riding big cars, carrying multiple entourages, and policemen. to the extent that they even fight and throw punches in parliamentary buildings over matters of little or no relevance's and then hire the masses as thugs to fight meaningless courses, neglecting the cries and issues bordering the masses ans people..
Basic amenities like water, fuel, electricity e.t.c. have been neglected some are even relegated to the l.lowest level some parts of the country still don't have pipe born water or electricity, fuel price has constantly been on the rise in my country to the extent that the people now fear that it will get to a point were it will no longer be affordable to the common man. food supply in my country has drastically reduced, we no longer produce or export food materials in my cou try instead we import and consume and in this the people are experiencing hardship of all kinds, some don't even have anything to eat, hunger and starvation everywhere.
lets stand up for the truth this is the 21st century look at Dubai, look at India, look at china, look at Singapore. look at the rapid development that's going on in the Asian continent. yet no single technological development and advancement has come to my country Nigeria and in most African countries yet we parade ourselves as the giant of Africa when we don't lead by example. what a crippled giant we are when we have nothing to show for such hefty status conferred on use.
we need to stand up and ask ourselves basic questions like were is everything going wrong, what has our politicians done for us, what has Nigeria as a country done.
