Steemit is making me a better giver

Winston S. Churchill once said that "
We make a living by what we get. We make a life by what we give"
Of a truth life comes with its own struggles, it's low moments, dark times and more often, we get to meet people that are in need
If you have ever lived a tough life and have had to struggle hard just for your life to make sense, you'd understand other people's struggles and in most cases you wish you could help them out of such situations
Recently in Nigeria, the issue of religious teachers and giving has been trending so much and has gone to both extremes one of which giving to the poor is being emphasized
People have needs but majorly financial needs have been topping the list, of which they can never have enough but there's something they could have that would make them comfortable
Steemians are the first set of people I've noticed that give, i mean the whole steemit community revolves around giving....
Some steemians resteem our posts to give us a wider audience, upvote our comments on their posts, upvote our posts without us reaching out to them,

I could make a long list of steemians and their gifts
These gestures have spurred something in me and i always look for opportunities to give,
Giving is indeed living
